Great food and wonderful service! You MUST try the chocolate mousse!
The atmosphere & service are good. Its comfortable and casual. The food is not the best, but not the worst for the theatre district where it is very hard to find a good restaurant. With so many restaurants its hard to believe how few acceptable ones there are. Bond 45 is not bad, which is high praise.
The focaccia is delicious. The pasta is great. The menu sets the pizza is the best in NYC, I disagree. It was decent, but the crust is almost like a cracker. Service is quick if you sit upstairs. It’s slower if you go downstairs, but it’s much quieter.
We visit Broadway several times a year. Each time we eat, primarily lunch, at Bond 45. Until yesterday, everything we’ve ordered has been consistently good. As usual, we ordered the Farro and Salmon Salad. Until yesterday, this salad is delicious, never disappoints; the salmon grilled to perfection and the farro, a nice chew. Bond 45 was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the dessert was fabulous. They made us feel special for my nieces graduation dinner. I would definitely recommend Bond 45 for a special occasion dinner.
