We needed a restaurant in the theatre district and because this had such high reviews, it was an easy pick. Staff was great but the food was not. There aren’t that many options to begin with and the food seemed like it had been there for a while. I had the granola with yoghurt and fruit and got sick. They also are the breakfast place for the hotel next door, where I believe it’s included. So, the dynamic feels rushed.
We love this place. Great service, good food, nice ambience.
The food was incredible as always, but the quality of the service over the years has declined pretty significantly. Last evening it took the manager ~20 minutes to even realize that our table had been seated & send a waiter over, and the entire service experience throughout the meal reflected that level of quality. The food came out before all our drinks came out, and our server was very clearly overtasked. So disappointing for such an iconic place.
We had a wonderful experience at Bond 45 for lunch. I have dined at the sister restaurant Fiorello’s several times. I actually preferred Bond 45 because the staff was so friendly and helpful. The tables are more spread out at Bond 45. No feeling like sardines. The menu is the same as at Fiorellos. Some in our party opted for brunch type food such as eggs Benedict while others chose from the traditional Italian menu. All very good. We shared an order of chocolate mousse and it was superb. Great pre-theater venue. Good food and excellent service. Wait staff always asks for theater time and works to assure food is served timely.
The food was great. We were seated quickly, which was good because we had show tickets. We were at a table about 2 inches from other tables on either side. They squeeze a lot of people into that place! Food was good, service was quick. Value, was another thing altogether. My husband ended up paying $50 for a chicken parmigiana dish, once they added the side of pasta. The "side" of pasta was barely enough to fill a cavity - yet they charge $13.00??? Wonderful service. Food was fine but not amazing.
Terrible Service despite the fact that it wasn’t busy. Couldn’t get another round of drinks…very frustrating. Dinner was delicious however.
