Whether you are new to therapy or don't click with your current provider, I can confidently refer Heather to those who are struggling with a variety of mental health issues. Not only did she help me find the roots of my issues and brainstorm steps to alleviate my worries, but she also provided a safe and comfortable environment for me to do so. Heather is AMAZING . I've been seeing her for a while now and my quality of life and mental health is 100% better than when I first start seeing her. It is exciting to me since I can clearly see the progress which makes me hopeful for the future. Also I think it's great that she's constantly adding skills to her toolbelt by studying and learning more on her own time. We've used EMDR to reprocess some things which enabled me to feel closure and put things behind me. Couldn't imagine going through some things without her.

Heather has had an amazing impact on my daughter. My daughter struggled to connect with other therapists but instantly bonded with Heather. I've had the pleasure of knowing Heather, as a colleague and supervisor, for nearly 5 years. She is easy to connect with and uses her humor and authenticity to build rapport and maintain strong connections with those she meets. Her therapy skills and vast experience really allow her to employ approaches to best meet her clients where they're at and help them achieve the goals they set forth. In my experience being supervised in my training hours was incredibly beneficial, and helped shape who I am as a therapist today.

I was so delighted to hear that Heather Swisher has opened her own practice. Heather was a therapist in my school district for students with severe behavioral and emotional issues. I am the school psychologist for the program. She connected well with all of the students with whom she worked.
