They are always trying to work with people to squeeze in urgent care and emergency vet visits to help as many unplanned situations as possible. If you are looking for a vet clinic that models their practice around kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity, I would highly recommend Boysen Animal Hospital.
Wonderful experience for such a difficult time. We had to put our family dog Aqua to sleep after having her for over 16 years on Wednesday. She could no longer use her back legs making her unable to walk. She was a 70-80 pound pit bull so picking her up to use the rest room was nearly impossible and she was falling into her pee/poo because she couldn’t stand. I am very grateful for the professional, kind care given my dog Indy, who has a tick borne disease. My regular vet couldn’t see her for two days and recommended Boysen-best place ever. They got me in same day, ran tests, and treated my girl, who is back to her self today. Thank you to Dr. Boysen and all the wonderful staff. They are stellar. Photo of my rescue dogs. We have been bringing our little zoo crew here the past couple of years and cannot recommend them enough! One of our dogs has seizures in places with a lot of animal smells (vets, groomers, dog sitters) and the vet staff are so kind and awesome that they are willing to come to our vehicle to do things like blood draws so we can avoid her having a seizure. All the staff are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Love this vet!
They are always amazing with our animals at Boysen. We have done to several in the area and have now been with Boysen for many years. You can tell they really care about the animals and it's a very personable experience. They are always trying to make it work with our schedule and we don't feel like we are just a number! They also don't push unnecessary tests and give options and creative ideas as needed. Love them!
