This rental company is the absolute worst. We rented a vacation home using them this past week and the place was a dump. The house was filthy and the couches and mattresses should have been replaced 10 years ago. They were stained and ripped and the back cushions were so worn out they wouldn't stay upright. The carpet was stained and so dirty it turned your feet black to walk around on. They provided barely one flat pillow per person, one towel per person and only one dishrag for the house. Peak season and max occupancy must equal slow service. Beautiful house showing wear and tear and Brinkley beach folks are unavailable to maintain. Feel sorry for the owners. Rented with Carolina designs and twiddy previously and quick response for any probs. not so with Brindley.
I'd love to give a better review but Brindley Beach let us down! We arrived at our house today and it clearly isn't being properly maintained. So disappointed.
We rented First Choice in Corolla last week, house was filthy, had a spider and cockroach problem, we called daily from Monday on, they promised to take care of the issues and never did, unless you count the two roach motels they dropped off and an almost empty bottle of spray. We won't be using Brindley Beach again in the future.
We just got back from a trip to the Outer Banks. Although the house we stayed in was nice, the listing for the house claims to have 6 TV's; however, only 3 of them actually had a cable and cable box. The other 3 TV's were in the bedrooms and had no cable or cable box....worthless. We aren't on vacation to watch TV, but some of the families are used to falling asleep with a TV on, so this was a huge disappointment. Be sure to take a screen shot of any advertised specials. After we made our reservations with Brindley, they removed the special from their website and then claimed it was never there.
We were very disappointed with our Brindley beach vacation rental. If you are thinking of renting HK9 Quali-Tee Time I'd suggest renting another property until they spend some money on existing maintenance issues. The two biggest issues are the broken spindles on the 2nd floor deck and the ant problem on the first floor. The spindle issue is of high concern because I feared a young child could fall through.
