A mainstay of the Mass Ave district in Indianapolis, BRU Burger Bar Indy is the first BRU location established under the BRU Burger brand at Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

Spoiler alert, long post for why I love this restaurant. I worked yesterday and for the first time in years had no Christmas eve plans as I couldn't determine what time i would be done. Dustan and I decided we wanted burgers so we trekked down to Mass Ave and went to Bru Burger. They were pretty busy being one of 4 places open on the Ave, we were seated in the area by the door that probably didn't have a server but a guy took care of us and we are low maintenance. Great service and good food!
The food is always good and no matter how busy they are, it comes out promptly. Try the onion rings, you’ll be glad you did. I’ve never had bad service. I’d definitely recommend it!
