A mainstay of the Mass Ave district in Indianapolis, BRU Burger Bar Indy is the first BRU location established under the BRU Burger brand at Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

1st time visitors from MD!! While waiting for a table we took a seat at the bar. We were not disappointed, the bar staff was very attentive and pleasant! Even though it's a burger bar I ordered Mahi Mahi sandwich and it was delicious! Keep up the good work!!
Excellent service & food . .I had the blue burger..cheesecake with chocolate . .yum
The food and wait staff are great. The hostesses are not, and they don't care to be. We know there is always a wait, so we plan to arrive early to get our names in. We understand not seating a party until all have arrived but they told us we were "on the list" and once we checked back, they started our wait time over again stating the "time starts when all in your party are present." Moral of the story...lie and tell them your party is there or wait 2 hours and get the table by the door with people bumping you, crowding ... read more
I thought the food was good, but I did not like the 1.5 hour wait. I would not wait that long again. Taking reservations would be nice.
