A mainstay of the Mass Ave district in Indianapolis, BRU Burger Bar Indy is the first BRU location established under the BRU Burger brand at Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

I was skeptical. How good can a burger be?? We had been to Bagger Dave's and I wasn't impressed. My husband and I sat at the bar to wait for a table. We ended up staying there to eat. Our bartender, Kim, was awesome! She gave great recommendations, bring it was our first time there. She was super friendly and fun. Thanks, Kim! My husband got the burger of the month, the Sicilian. We called multiple times and were told no reservations were allowed, which is totally fine and understandable, but the hostess' failed to mention every time that we called that an event was going on literally right outside of their establishment. When we got there, they told us our wait was only an hour and 45 minutes. Went back in for a check up, only for them to change it to 2 hours. Long story short: we had to wait up to 3 hours. Based on reviews, we visited BRU at 4:15 pm on a sunny, hot Saturday afternoon (97 degrees with heat warnings). The patio was 3/4 full and inside was about 95% full, but we wanted to get out of the heat. Upon entering, the place was nice and cool. The hostesses were friendly and helpful. We were told about 20 minutes for a table. They take your cell number and send you a text we your table is ready. 7 minutes pass and we got the text. We ordered the buttermilk chicken strips for appetizer. Tasty any quick. We ... read more

The food was great, my burger...excellent, Vickies Salad excellent. .the service from April... perfect! Will DEFINITELY be back.
