Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

Meh.... It's average at best. The burgers were decent but pricey. Not a lot of selections on the menu. It was moving in weekend for Notre Dame so lots of entitled students and parents were there. Probably won't return anytime soon.

My brother and I were visiting in South Bend and decided to try BRU Burgers. Was able to reserve a table. We both had the smaller size salad and it was plenty. We both enjoyed the salads. We shared a side of onion rings, and they were great. Service was great, our waitress checked on us often. Will def go back when in town.

A nice more upscale option on Eddy Street. Burgers are always solid and the salad options are nice, especially with added chicken or salmon. Very good beer selection and OK wine on tap choices as well.

I’ve been to Bruburger many times, and very rarely have I been disappointed. But last night was not up to par. Most of it was service related, but sampler board did not have enough bread for the dips, and we were not able to get any more after we requested it. The onions, which are usually crispy and warm, were cold and completely wet and droopy. My friends french fries, were not the usual either. I don’t know if it was just an off night in the kitchen or what. Hopefully things will be better next time.
