My husband has been treated by Dr Kalmin since May 2025. He has had a total of three visits with Dr Kalmin. His diagnosis is Stage four Liver Disease. After the last visit, there were several tests and labs that Dr Kalmin said to schedule. We are very frustrated as he has left four messages in the last 10 days and not one has been returned. After having my appt rescheduled 2-3 times I had to wait 1 3/4 hrs to see him for 5 mins. While he is ok, I find the waiting rude and unprofessional.
I had a laparoscopy with him, he failed to find growths in my stomach, I am know facing major surgery to to his incompetence
I would advice any and all women not to see this doctor. I was very ill when I first contacted him and had just moved. He wanted to take me on as a patient, knowing it would be challenging. I have had to fight for my meds, and surgeries each time. Resulting in long hospital stays and many financial issues because he refuses to fix the problem before it becomes an emergency. Many times I had for have my husband explain our dire situation or sit with him to talk before he would believe me. Not OK

Stay away from this person! He almost killed me! Totally careless, he did a colonoscopy and didn't clamp one of the polyps he removed. I had an internal hemorrhage and ended up on an ambulance to the emergency room. At the hospital he did a second colonoscopy to put the clamp and discovered that he missed other polyps on the first procedure. He was going to remove them but the assisting nurse reminded him that I was not sedated. So, he happily said: "OK, let's do another colonoscopy in 3 months"
I filled out all my forms on-line ahead of time but they still made me arrive 1/2 hour before my appointment. I arrived at 9:30 am for a 10 am appointment and did not go into the exam room until 10:30 am with no apologies. Then I had to wait an additional 1/2 hour to see the doctor. So I had to wait 1 and 1/2 hours and then the doctor only gave me 10 minutes of his time and did not answer all my questions. I am in a lot of pain and now have to wait a month before I can have my colonoscopy.
I would NOT recommend this doctor at all, EVER!!!!!! He does not seem concerned about his patient and the reading of test results seemed not to matter to his as they were over 10 days past due. Also, he said they were at an office he only visits once a week. Seriously?!?! Does he not use a computer or know how to pick up a phone? Please apologize, I know it's hard, maybe he missed that day in pre-k. He seems more annoyed having to see a patient than really trying to help them. :(
Did not feel he really care about my situation, there was some issues which he didn't even try to help. I would not go back to this doctor, even if was the last one.
