In my opinion, it's a wonderful Place to live! I've had a great experience living at this apartment complex. The management team is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. Any maintenance requests I've submitted were handled quickly and efficiently. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. I have lived in a Brun apt. for 3 years. They are very responsive to any needs I may have; I have found their management to be empathetic and willing to act on it. They are very approachable and seem to genuinely care about their tenants

I have had many positive experiences with Brun Properties, but today I will highlight one of their property managers, Ms. Darlene Hensley. I have lived here for 7 years and have had a few difficulties, but Darlene always showed interest in assisting me and genuinely cared. They honestly couldn't have a better person on their team. Brun is the worst property management company in Knoxville. Their employees are always rude & hostile. We Lived in one of their apartment complexes for over 4 years. It was always riddled with plumbing/water issues; not to mention the paint flaking rusty balconies that NEVER got any attention. During mowing season the grass is left unattended and overgrown for weeks at a time however, they constantly raise their tenant's rent and do not address these issues at the property. Oh the things I could say about Brun Property management. I lived in various apartments that they manage in Fort Sanders for 3 years because their units were the only ones within my price range at the time. They're slumlords. The first apartment was in the basement of a duplex. It was 55 degrees on average the entire time I lived there, and I could not change it at all, because the only thermostat was upstairs in someone else's apartment. In today's world, poor Management in an apartment complex is pretty much the norm, so that's not really anything special. What makes Scheel Road so spectacularly awful is the fact that every spring and fall, it floods. Sometimes it's just up to the back door, only a little bit of water in your living room. They might bring sandbags to put back behind your door, but only after it's flooded a couple times. (You might notice neighbors keep theirs year round for this reason.) VERY POOR COMMUNICATION, Horrible Staff and SLUMLORDS..... plain and simple if you can help it don't waste your time here. They DO NOT PUT IN RENTAL AGREEMENTS THAT WHEN YOU VACATE YOUR UNIT YOUR DEPOSIT DOESNT FULLY COME BACK THE "MADE SERVICE" and "Carpet Cleaning/Stain Removal" Is a NONNEGOTIABLE FEE OF 425$ let these New scamming managers tell it, they also charged us stuff that was already wrong w/ the unit ...
