Brun has been managing my 4 properties for approx 6 years and they've never let me down. They're silent while everything is flowing well but when something pops up, they let me know. Get my approval and fix it. I'm amazed at some of the repairs the maintenance men have handled over the years for me usually at a great discount. I tried two slightly cheaper companies first both made me feel unseen. Appreciate you guys!

In our 10 years as residents in a home managed by Brun, we were quite impressed with all of the management team - through the drama of trees fallen during a sudden storm, crazy neighbors, occasional requests for maintenance items, they were there to stand by and assist quickly, efficiently and patiently. In my opinion, it's a wonderful Place to live! I've had a great experience living at this apartment complex. The management team is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the residents. Any maintenance requests I've submitted were handled quickly and efficiently. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. I have lived in a Brun apt. for 3 years. They are very responsive to any needs I may have; I have found their management to be empathetic and willing to act on it. They are very approachable and seem to genuinely care about their tenants

I have had many positive experiences with Brun Properties, but today I will highlight one of their property managers, Ms. Darlene Hensley. I have lived here for 7 years and have had a few difficulties, but Darlene always showed interest in assisting me and genuinely cared. They honestly couldn't have a better person on their team. I applied for a property instantly as soon as it was listed. I was the first to view and I filled out my application within an hour. I sent my required info and was so excited for the house. They called me and verified my info and dragged their feet all day with ridiculous requests and told me they don't accept paystubs for income. Next they wanted my tax returns for my business which every year shows a loss after write offs. Brun is the worst property management company in Knoxville. Their employees are always rude & hostile. We Lived in one of their apartment complexes for over 4 years. It was always riddled with plumbing/water issues; not to mention the paint flaking rusty balconies that NEVER got any attention. Oh the things I could say about Brun Property management. I lived in various apartments that they manage in Fort Sanders for 3 years because their units were the only ones within my price range at the time. They're slumlords. The first apartment was in the basement of a duplex. It was 55 degrees on average the entire time I lived there, and I could not change it at all, because the only thermostat was upstairs in someone else's apartment. In today's world, poor Management in an apartment complex is pretty much the norm, so that's not really anything special. What makes Scheel Road so spectacularly awful is the fact that every spring and fall, it floods. Sometimes it's just up to the back door, only a little bit of water in your living room. They might bring sandbags to put back behind your door, but only after it's flooded a couple times. (You might notice neighbors keep theirs year round for this reason.)
