I went to pick up the power tool that I won in the auction to find that it doesn’t work. I paid the same amount of money that I would have if I purchased a used power tool on Offer Up or Market place. I don’t recommend buying anything from this company due to this reason. I definitely feel cheated. Buyer beware.

I have been buying from Cal auctions for the past 3 years but today I had a bad experience with a customer service on the order that was incorrect. today when I called to pick up my stuff they had the order wrong and I called customer service to get help and Erika the lady that answered the phone, she was extremely rude I was talking to her and she hung up on me and then when I called back and I asked her if she hung up on me she said yeah I hung up on you I do not have time for this “mamacita” this is extremely disrespectf... read more

My main suggestion is to preview items before bidding; look for the times/dates to be able to preview on the auction listing. The photos are SO DECEPTIVE! Listing does not include condition of the item and if electronics are working or not. Also, remember when bidding, there a x% addition what what your bid price is, so keep that in mind when bidding.

The new system is bad! Make some changes to the clock so a person can see how much time is left before an item closes! I refuse to bid on an item and have the time run out not knowing how much time was left!!

I was bidding on a auction with you guys and it was a horrible experience. I said it ended at first at 12 then said 7 then said 11 pm well it ended around 630 I will not be bidding with your company again and will unfollow you on Facebook and might even yelp it. I’ve done quite a few auctions before and I’ve never experienced a auction end time moving and then not even ending at that time.

Sometimes good sometimes bad. What really irritates me is that when items are broken, torn, discolored or whatever, they many times do not say anything or even show it in the pictures. They purposefully omit negative information that will help buyers make more informed bids on many occasions.

What a joke. I know why there are so many bad reviews. I placed a $25 bid over someone else who had a $14 bid inside the auction time. I never got a confirmation email and showed up to collect my item that I had "won". I show up ( mind you I drive and hour and a half ONE WAY) and the guy there told me I didn't win and that the winning bid went to the $14 guy because "he bought more than you did".
