Thoughtful, diligent, responsive. Like no other doctor I have seen. Highly recommend.

Dr. Potosky took his time with me. He looked at my records and corrected a mis-diagnosis from another local provider. You can really tell he cares about you and thinks carefully about your concerns. Very professional and timely with interactions outside of the visit. A very positive experience compared to other doctor's visits.

I had a telehealth visit and a procedure with Dr. Halvorson. She was very patient and kind during the whole experience. The staff were polite and professional. I was nervous and they were all very good at explaining everything and calming me down.

Dr. Kim is a very knowledgeable and friendly doctor. He conducted multiple colonoscopies for me including polyp removal and followed up when I had a bout of diverticulitis. When he felt a procedure would best be conducted at UMD he referred me to another competent colleague. He and his staff are caring and responsive and I am lucky and grateful to have him as my gastroenterologist.

While I felt he was very competent in doing my 2 endoscopys, I felt he was more interested in me pushing colonoscopies on me (I did one) at every visit vs getting to the heart of the issues I was and still am dealing with. There are so many other options I felt he could give me like testing me for H-pylori, and doing labs. He declared me 'fine' when I stopped having immediate GERD issues during later appointments, but that was due to my own efforts and not his. I felt like a number vs a real patient.

After going to another Dr locally, it was suggested by my daughter that I see her friend who was also a well known GI. It was Dr Potosky. He was everything that she said he was. Kind, compassionate, caring, an incredible listener and thorough diagnostician. He took so much time with me and made me feel so relaxed and at ease about our plan of action. I am forever grateful to have been connected to him.

Dr Potosky took so much time with me and listened to all of my concerns. He took way more time than any other Dr I have ever seen. He was kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgable about what my concerns were. I would in the future and in fact already have referred several of my family and friends to see him.

I am a government research nurse, a lawyer, and a patient of Dr Darryn Potosky. I give you my credentials to show that my assessment of Dr Potosky is not just that he posses an outstanding bedside manner but that his knowledge and precision in diagnosing and treating hepatic illness is the best I’ve encountered. His diagnostic skills are spot on. His communication is outstanding. He takes the time to listen to what you are telling him and explains in understandable terms what his findings are.
