I recently had an unsedated colonoscopy with Dr. Ali and the experience was as pleasant as a colonoscopy can be. Dr. Ali discussed my preference for the unsedated procedure with me, explained the benefits of sedation, and then agreed to the unsedated colonoscopy when I expressed that I still preferred to be awake for the procedure.
