My son is a Colitis patient of Dr. Shah's. She has been a literal life-saver for him. She absolutely cares for him and calls to check up on him if she hasn't seen him as frequently as she likes. During a recent hospital stay she called and texted us constantly to keep abreast of what was going on and at 11 pm was up compiling and forwarding pertinent medical records for me to give to the doc at the hospital. My son avoided unnecessary surgery becuz of her intervention!! We love love love her!
I was referred to Dr Stern after I have been treated for 4 years for acid reflux without any success. I had gone through multiple procedures with other gastro doctors. I told my primary I wanted the best gastro doctor and he recommended Dr. Stern. He was right. It just took one visit and Dr Stern figured it out. You will find a dr. who listens and communicates in a simple way for you to understand. Very down to earth dr. and you find very easy to talk and relate to. The best in the business.
I would strongly recommend Dr. Iyer.
Dr Iyer is my favorite GI Dr. He is kind, considerate, understanding, concerned and most of all caring. His attitude will make you feel better no matter the circumstances. He has a willingness to answer all questions. He spends as much quality time with as he can to make sure all of your concerns are taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone.
After going through a handful of doctors, I have to say Dr. Iyer is my absolute favorite.
I don't know. She yelled at me during the appointment because I went to take notes on my phone. It seems she thought I was going to look up the condition she was suggesting, so she said something like, I'm the doctor, I'll tell you what you have, put that away. It just all seemed super rushed, defensive, and unnecessarily combative... sigh... but she did recommend me to a truly awesome colorectal specialist, so I guess it was a win.
I highly recommend seeing Stacy for you Gi needs. She is very thorough and explains everything really well. I waited a long time in the waiting room but I would say it was well worth the wait.
Great doctor I had bad stomach pain nobody knew what it was he never gave up on me and found the problem and fixed it. He's patient and listens and He was definitely blessed by God. Thank you Dr. Janson
This is an excellent Doctor. I had my colonoscopy with him and he was very professional and Kind. I highly recommend this physician and I am going back for my second after ten years. Good to know he is still at GW!
