I would recommend to others. We picked this community because, I spoke with [name removed]on the phone and came to visit and liked it. My loved one really like's it and has made a lot of friends.
There really aren't enough superlatives to describe our memory care experience at Capitol Hill. I was there at all different hours of the day, unannounced, and every time I was there, the staff was happy and kind. I would see them holding hands with the residents, joking with them, sitting and talking with them, and always treating them with such dignity and kindness. I felt like I hit the lottery regarding my husband's care. Not only did they take care of him, but they also took care of me.
I’m a home health physical therapist that works with some patients at the facility. The staff is helpful and kind to the residents. They provide excellent activities and meals. They have a great physical therapy program and exercise gym.
I recently had the experience visiting Capitol Hill’s Family Pie Night. I was so impressed with the entire atmosphere. I could tell the residents were genuinely happy and having a good time. There was a large number of them that spent the entire evening talking and laughing with each other. Many of them expressed to me how much they enjoy living at Capitol Hill and how appreciative they are of the staff that works so hard and consistently to provide them with enjoyable activities. The staff is very dedicated to the residents. Dozens of activities to reach a wide range of interests. Dining staff is amazing and provide delicious meals daily. So impressed by the kindness and dedication of the staff.
The residents and staff are so welcoming and kind! The environment is warm. Seeing the bonds the residents create with each other and staff members is so sweet! The kitchen staff is friendly and the food looks delicious! There is a little bistro area for residents to have access to some type of food all day long salads, sweets, juices, water, fruits, and more!
Everything about Capitol Hill has been a great experience thus far. They have made a great home for my mother who was very apprehensive about moving in. She has a community now and staff who care for her like family. We couldn’t ask for a better place!
Capitol Hill is a great place for those looking for caring staff, fun community events and family like atmosphere. The residents and staff look happy and enjoy each others company. The building is well kept, clean, and doesn’t have any orders. Everyone is very friendly and helpful!
Capitol Hill recently remodeled the dining room and living room. It looks great. The staff really care about the residents and there is always something fun to do. I highly recommend this place for your loved one
