Welcome to Car Crafters! We are a locally owned and operated shop in Albuqeurque, New Mexico and have been in businessfor over 32 years. When he was younger, owner and founder Jim Guthrie developed a passion for racing which led to a knack for fixing cars. He started repairing cars for friends and family out of his parents garage. When their cul-de-sac reached it's capacity, Guthrie's parents told him to stop and focus on college or get his own body shop. My dad and I went elk hunting this year but the trip was cut short. That buck just darted out in front of my truck; I didn’t even have time to swerve. Well, I ended up with an elk on my hood alright…just not the way I’d intended. Once we made it home, my first stop of course was the taxidermist but my second stop was Car Crafters. Just don’t tell the guys…I’ve got them all convinced I’m a skilled marksman. What’s that saying, what happens at Car Crafters stays at Car Crafters?! Thanks guys
what a difference – had a fender bender that was repaired by another shop…repeatedly, and the paint still didn’t match. Every time I looked at my car, it was a reminder of my accident. Finally, I took it to Car Crafters. What a difference! The new paint matched the rest of the car perfectly! If you didn’t know better, you couldn’t tell it had been repaired! Next time, I’ll go to Car Crafters first!
looks great – My car was hit by another car sliding out of control in last year’s freak snow storm. A friend recommended that I take my car to Car Crafters. She said they would repair the car quickly, there wouldn’t be any surprises and I could track the progress of the work online. My friend was right, the estimate was right on, my car was ready when they said it would be and best of all - when I picked it up, it looked great! If you need your car repaired, I recommend Car Crafters.
Best in Albuquerque! – Best in Albuquerque...great customer service, we've used them multiple times for repairs and they did an excellent job. Pricey but worth it.
Took care of my concerns – I had my 2003 MB CLK320 in for some collision work in June. After I picked it up I noticed that there were a few minor items that needed to be taken care of. Dan Crosley, my service advisor, was all over it. He was helpful and friendly and took care of my concerns immediately. Kudos to Dan and the entire staff at Car Crafters. And those fresh chocolate chip cookies aren't too bad either :o)
