I am/was a resident of this facility I've been to other facilities, and nothing else compares. They accommodated all my requests and we were to go above and beyond. I would highly recommend to others

I visited this facility I was a patient at Care One in Westwood NJ for close to three weeks after recent open heart surgery. I found every person very caring and concerned for every patient's well being. My own needs were met every single day. From the administrative folks to the OT's & PT's, to the nursing staff everyone was kind, caring and attentive to each patient. The housekeeping staff was always around cleaning as well. I definitely would recommend Care One at Valley. Karen O'Toole

I am a friend or relative of a resident My dad stayed at CareOne when he was recovering from his surgery. The staff was very nice. It was a completely different type of setting. It was more like in between a hospital and assisted living. He was in a semi-private room, and the situation depended on who his roommate was. You would never know who you were going to get. He had some roommates who didn't say anything, or some complained that he had his TV too loud. I guess that's part of the territory, but they looked on him const... read more

I am a friend or relative of a resident After surgery, they put my mom is at Caring One at Valley for rehabilitation. The facility is fine. The nurses are wonderful and give attentive care. The rooms are okay. It is five minutes from my home so I can see her every day.

I visited this facility My mother is currently at CareOne (November, 2011) and I am very thankful for the quality of care she is getting. The sad reality of any managed care setting (think: nursing home) is that it's at best, a 50-50 crap shoot, odds that nobody likes when it comes to the care of their elderly parent. At CareOne at Valley, I'd have to say that 80% of the aides and 75% of tne nurses are outstanding. Stand out nurses include Carole, John, Beverly, Gersey, Linda and Denelle (sp?). Aides like Gloria, Sean, Carol... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Care One Valley neglected my mother. She was left without attention for 7-8 hrs a day. How do I know? I was there. Care Valley received a violation notice from the state for not having sufficient nurses and staff. This violation is just a slap on the wrist, that's it. My mother declined because of the lack of care at this facility. I give 1 Star for their lack of caring. Poor staff quality, food requirements full of mistakes. Their offices do not return phone calls. Execut... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father was a resident at this facility. He was immobile when admitted and within 2 weeks had a bedsore. The nurses decided on their own that he was a lost cause, and put him in the furthest room from the nurses station. They rarely came in to check in on him, and he wasn't turned regularly. There was one particular nurse who made jokes which my sister and I did not think was funny. My father has since passed away, from complications from the infections the bed sore caus... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident This place is not what it used to be. Huge staff turnover, without proper training for new hires. Do your research. After repeat stays my dad says he'll never go back there again.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident They must be having THEIR OWN family members posting reviews. This place is a nightmare! From the horrible Administrator on down, five star Medicare my behind! A neighbor of mine went there for rehab after breaking her elbow in a fall. A few weeks later, she died!!! Any facility that has "CareOne" in front of it, should be avoided at all costs!
