Carmel is lovely always! The breakfast area was not appealing. Old fruit and stale breads. The two separate rooms were great. Enjoyed the mini fridge and microwave.

The price didn't break the bank, but the room was very lackluster and dated. There were motion-sensors on all the lights, which proved to be extremely annoying. The room had an "old" smell to it, however it was quite clean. There were no pens and notepads anywhere in the room, which proved to be inconvenient when I needed to jot down some information. The location is good... pretty close to Ocean Avenue. The room was very clean. The bathroom had been remodeled and was quite nice. The staff was nice and helpful.
