I tried to make an appointment today for my dog . We are already clients there. I was told the first available appointment is in November , 4 months away . This is not an acceptable service and sadly I have found a new vet
Never answers their phones, no voicemail service. Have attempted to reach Carnegy via phone probably 50 times in the last 4 months, and was never once successful. Had to send an email requesting my dogs medical files get faxed over to another vet because we needed medical care, and even then I recieved no reply or confirmation. They used to be good a long time ago. Highly recommend Burnside Vet though!
Regrettably, Carnegy does not answer their phones during Open Hours and there is no facility for leaving messages. I had drive over to order a prescription refill and in the parking lot, met other Pet Owners with the same experience. Not acceptable at this time of trying to minimize contact. Not to mention, what if I was dealing with an emerg?

I had my 4 month old kitten at carnegy, what happened to animal cruelty? What happened to giving my cat a decent chance at life? What about getting everything out of your pocket just because they have you in a situation that's not in your control. They got 900 dollars out of me just to check my kitten and to tell me at closing time that they couldnt do nothing for me and he had to go to surgery to have a foreign object removed. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Wuhr and the Vet Techs in my experiences with them. However, I have had many difficulties with front-desk staff. On more than one occasion, I have been left on hold on the phone for more than 20min when calling to book an appointment. And on several occasions the staff failed to connect my dog's history from the breeder, with her current file, despite all of the appropriate forms and permissions being completed by the breeder and myself.
