Dad remains in assisted living. His caregivers are great, food seems to be good, facility clean. We're quite happy with his placement. They do not offer any outings and I have not seen any entertainment come into the facility.
Very happy we could put mom in this facility. They are always checking on her and the food is good . Very friendly and caring staff. The other residents are very supportive. Very convient to stop in any time and visit with her.
There's a difference between the sales pitch and actual care. I cannot stress enough to maintain control of physician orders vs facility interpretation. Administration and nursing initially dropped the ball which caused behaviors related to lack of medication. Care staff were compassionate and caring but most were not adequately trained or staffed in memory care. Granted, my MIL was a difficult case. Her end of life care was gentle and caring. clean, quiet facility. nice rooms, friendly staff.
the staff is very helpful. would like for bingo to be 2hrs long. need more activities in the afternoons. have had 2 parking signs for 2 months, that are still not put up. I would recommend this facility for anyone.
