Dr. Bessudo has been amazing to my father who was diagnosed with prostate & bone cancer. Dr. Bessudo is very kind, patient, caring, and thorough with my father's care. We are so grateful to have him as our physician!
My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January and it is now end of April and we are STILL waiting for a chemo treatment. Waited 6 weeks for the biopsy. Kept dropping the ball and now my brother is in ICU with pneumonia. Never did get the chemo.
While he is friendly and affable, he lacks attention to detail. During several visits, it was obvious he had not read my records. I was suggesting follow up care that he had not considered. He overlooked a crucial fact in my surgical report that said the surgeon had leaked bile during surgery (colon cancer), so I was Stage II and am now Stage IV because he did not order chemo. Wait times in Encinitas are often over 30 minutes. It is extremely difficult to get his staff to forward records to other doctors. It got to the point... read more

Unreliable never gets back to Hospice regarding a patient cancel twice on her she is deteriorating before my eyes due to no response and getting the help she needs regarding chemo and she has non hogkins lymphoma
