I paid $722 in advance for sedation with profofol for a tooth extraction. Not only was I not sedated, Dr. Valiente pretended he was hooking me up to an IV, but I watched and know for a fact that it never happened. He then numbed my mouth and added a nitros oxide mask. These aren't done when sedation is used. Under Profofol, there is total consciousness. I was wide awake throughout the entire procedure. It hurt, and I tried twice to stop the procedure.
