I'd had this pain since June 2019 (I'd had episodes of this pain in the past, but with this episode, it didn't go away in the typical few days), was self medicating with over the counter pain meds, avoiding hard foods, and even needed steroid injections. I was visiting from out of the area and developed a serious TMD problem. The office staff were very helpful in getting a referral, insurance authorization and fast appointment. I snore! One year ago I had a sleep study. Although I was not diagnosed with sleep apnea the snoring impacted the quality of both my sleep and my husbands. The recommended anti-snoring dental mouthpiece I use to help eliminate my snoring is somewhat effective but shifted my teeth and affected my bite. Dr. K gave me options and hope. She is professional, caring and thorough. She knows her stuff. I left the appointment with specific strategies to try to determine best way forward. 5 stars.
