If you have more than one health insurance carrier, they will not tell you how much each insurance company paid, before billing you. Does not live up to the billing and payment standards of other medical providers. Makes me suspicious of their business practices.
I went for a consultation, on the recommendation from my doctor since my ankles were swelling, and had ultrasound on both legs. After that a nurse or administrator spoke with me for a while to explain the different procedures. Before I knew it I was signed up for treatment. I saw Dr Chowla very briefly that first visit. I went in for the first procedure on a Monday. Dr. Chowla was not in (I was not told this in advance) so another doctor did the procedure.
