I went for a consultation, on the recommendation from my doctor since my ankles were swelling, and had ultrasound on both legs. After that a nurse or administrator spoke with me for a while to explain the different procedures. Before I knew it I was signed up for treatment. I saw Dr Chowla very briefly that first visit.
