After thirteen years of being a client and a total of seven pets, many regular checkups, operations and deaths, I found out that Chadwell Animal Hospital offers a 10% veterans discount. It is not disclosed on their website, you have to inquire about it. So for anyone who is military/veteran, who was not in the know, ask about their veteran discount. Also, ask about price matching on medications.
I don't like how your employee conducts herself online. It's a bad reflection on your company and makes me unwilling to take my pets here.
Wont be taking my animals anywhere a person who works there can laugh at a humans death. Imagine a vet laughing at your animals death just because she does not care about them. That’s exactly how Abby Frank is. Until she is dealt with I would never recommend this place.
CLIENT BEWARE**** I have taken my birds there several times and loved this practice and the veterinarian. Recently, I needed a prescription refill for “Bird Builder”. Since I am an hour away, I asked them to mail 6 months of the medicine for $77 which I paid. I never received the package; tracking says it was delivered to address but does not list address. I contacted Chadwell to be told I had to buy it again.
Improper wellness information about wildlife that was dropped off. I called the day after dropping a baby bird off, and was told that the baby was too weak and had passed. I called bs, the person answering the phone went and checked, and found out it was the wrong baby. My baby barn swallow had gone to a rehabber. I called last week wondering if I could check on it? I have been a client with Chadwell for over 10 years! My dog ingested some charcoal, and I call to find out if I should be concerned, have him checked, what I should do. The snotty receptionist told me I had to call pet poison control. I call, and they charge $75! So I call back, get same rude receptionist, and I explain, for $75 I would rather my dog just get seen. She proceeded to tell me they don’t any emergency appointments (mind you, it is only 8:40 in the morning) and that is why I have to call the pet poison control!!... read more
Had the worst experience of my life here. Never going back and I wish there was something lower than one star to give them.
