Never fails to meet expectations. Staff always friendly and efficient. Food excelente!
Several cuts of meat were either gristly or tasted off. I’ve eaten here many times and it’s always outstanding, but not this time. I brought family who had never eaten here before and they were not impressed with the meats that we were served. The service was amazing, as usual, but the food wasn’t there this time.
I wish my tummy was bigger! Chama Gaucha is always a go to for every special occasion. Thank you so much for a great experience.

This place never disappoints! I feel like royalty when I eat here because of the level service and the quality of the food. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing and unmatched. The quality of the meats and the quality of the salad bar are phenomenal and the attention to detail makes this restaurant my absolute favorite in all of Texas. Of all the Brazilian restaurants in San Antonio, Chama Gaucha not only has better tasting food, but the courteous staff and the way they make you feel as soon as you walk in the door is phenomenal. Truly an experience for those who seek fine dining and an unlimited amount of tender and succulent meat varieties, not to mention the amazing salad bar.
We will come back again! My husband said that it was the best meal he's ever eaten. He was slightly disappointed that "Happy Anniversary" wasn't written on my dessert plate. He has made arrangements prior. Also, we were told that we should receive a complementary dessert, but it wasn't taken off the bill. Minor details, and we had an overall amazing time. It is a lively restaurant with a lot of noise, so if a quiet mean is what you are after, well...... We've already recommended your establishment to family and friends.
Salad bar excellent, Carne( selection of meat, pork, chicken sausage, black beans, rice, fried banana,farofa all spectacular).
