Good was really good. The service was outstanding. Would definitely go again.
Love the personal caring that the owner takes for his customers. All waiters/waitresses/servers/managers are attentive and friendly to all tables. Food is fabulous, great options on salad bar and meat choices (don't ever get rid of the beets-love them!) My only comment which is reflected in the ambiance score is this, we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. I have been to Chama Gaucha quite a few times now and have always had excellent service and food. This visit didn't quite live up to the 5 stars I usually would give it. Mind you, I love this restaurant and usually leave having had a great experience-- this visit fell short. This visit was off the usual awesomeness because I had a long period (for this restaurant and my previous experiences here) of not being served and my cuts of meat not being cooked the way I requested. This is the BEST Brazilian steakhouse in San Antonio!!!
I had never been here before, but heard good things from friends and coworkers. I was not disappointed. The food was great and the service was awesome. For me, this is not a place I can afford to eat at often but for those special occasions it makes the mark.
This is one of our favorite places to get dinner or lunch when we are in the neighborhood. The food is amazing and service is fantastic.
My husband and I love going to Chama Gaucha! We have visited all the Brazilian steakhouses in San Antonio and this is by far our favorite. The wait can be a little long on the weekends but reservations through Open Table help! The food and service are excellent!
My wife and I just celebrated our one year anniversary at Chama Gaucha, and the food was amazing. The salad bar, service, and lighting was second to none. This is by far the best restaurant I've been to in San Antonio.
