Chama is truly heaven earth carnivores. The variety of meats and service are truly the best in San Antonio. If you like salad they have a great salad bar as well. The staff is so great that our drinks never emptied and we never had an empty plate. This is a must visit if been thinking about going.
We visited Chama Chama for my son's 19th birthday. We have tried a couple other Brazilian steakhouses in San Antonio but Chama Gaucha was in a league of it's own. The food was top-notch. John was our waiter and it was the best service we ever experienced.
We went to Chama Gaucho's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This isn't the first time that we ate at this restaurant, we have dined here numerous times to experience the best cuisine and service in San Antonio, TX. Our anniversary experience was terrific, we will be back again soon.
Nice ambiance ,subdued lighting contemporary design ,excellent service, many wonderful cuts of meat, fun night out.
This was only my second time at this restaurant, and it officially my favorite place to dine EVER. The staff is absolutely attentive and have great attitudes, the servers are fast but attentive, and the walk around drink cart is EPIC. But....THAT CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoyed the food immensely! Prior reservations had been made. Upon arriving a gentleman greeted us and offered drinks. However the girl and serve desk never acknowledged us nor asked if we had reservations. As people arrived they got seated first. Needless to say, it was still early so no problem. But it would seem service attendant would have "attended" to us first. The only other thing I would comment about was it lighting. This was our first visit to this restaurant. Very busy day for Father's Day. Would probably have given five stars if it had not been so busy and the meat was over-cooked that was being brought around to each table. The salad bar was great! Not the usual salad bar that most restaurants have.
Very nice place, only complaint was that I felt a little rushed and was not offered all the kinds of meat they served. Got the same cut repeated a few times. But the food was great and so was the service.
