Amazing staff and food
I had dinner with my best friend to just catch up and connect. The service was amazing and the food superb. It was a bit of a splurge for two single moms but so worth it! Our waiter was great, treated us like royalty. Totally recommend!
We have visited Chama several times, however we usually do not bring our kiddos or go during lunch. This time we did both. The service was outstanding and everyone was attentive, the meat was hot, well, seasoned / cooked, and came out frequently. Drinks were never more than 1/4 empty and table was cleaned often. The salad bar was well appointed and the sides were good but not too filling. You will not be disappointed!(Tip, try the lemonade, yum)
The hubby and I recently celebrated our anniversary here and enjoyed the entire experience. Our reservation was for 4:30 (before it got super crowded) and we were seated promptly. The server greeted us right away and gave us a few moments when I said I'd like to look over the wine list. The wine buyer happened to be right there, answered my questions and made an excellent cocktail suggestion for my husband- it wasn't on the menu yet but we both highly recommend it (a twist on an Old Fashioned). As usual this was a great experience. The food is very good but the service is incredible!
The service was seamlessly impeccable. The Malbec was perfect. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. I was a wonderful evening.
The food, as always, was awesome. I only wish I would have gotten a chance to try more. We were seated in a side area to where only the same 3 or 4 guys came by. Finally they asked if we wanted something in particular but that was at the end of dinner. Recommendation, never let them seat you away from the main dining area, you will miss out and feel you didn't get your money worth.
It's hard to nail down your fine dining ground game and deliver 5-star professionalism, attention to detail, and a contemporary taste experience in a market that doesn't have legions of well-heeled (for SA) and implacable foodies with their 21 year old boy toys, impossibly suspicious tourists or high-strung convention goers to keep you on your toes. However, CG does deliver an overall restaurant experience that (at the end of the day) amounts to a fair value. I will visit again...
Me and my wife had the pass three aniversaris there, the first one the food was very tasty including meets and sides, but over the year the taste has change and this year has us thinking on trying other places, i can't say anything about the salad bar its been always the best.
