Very expensive generic medication ($212.00 for 30-day supply) for my problem. Because the prescription was not in the Insurance company formulary, I was informed that this prescription would be covered one time only as a TEMPORARY SUPPLY, and that I needed to inform the doctor’s office that it would not be covered going forward. The insurance company gave me a list of medications that are in their formulary, and the price ranged from $21.94 to $48.45 for a 30-day supply. Only game in town, really. Four visits, all four ended up waiting almost an hour past appointment time and he has a very distinct lack of empathy or interest in discussion with you. Get in, diagnose, pay. Don't know how they can get so backlogged.

I'm assuming September 28, 2016 must have been a bad day for him. After I heard great things about him his bedside manner I recommended him to my daughter and son-in-law for fertility concerns. She stated he was cold, zero bedside manner, and offered zero help. He may be good with other issues but if fertility is your concern I'd say go elsewhere. Nice way to make people feel worse. Hope no one ever treats anyone in your family the way you did my family.
It was determined that I would need lithotripsy to break up kidney stones. Dr. Kaplan never seemed invested in my care. After a roller coaster of a week that included a second hospital stay for pain I finally had to demand his attention. This resulted in another hospital procedure. The icing on the cake was when I returned to the office on a Friday to be prepped for a stent removal only to be told I needed to come back on Monday. I would not recommend Dr. Kaplan to anyone.
