Wonderful community. Very close to a good hospital and good doctors in the community.Very good care. Good communication. We picked this community because It was close to home. It is about 20 miles from my parents home. We will check it out again whenever/if my father needs to return to assisted living. I was very grateful to A Place for Mom for letting me know that the community could care for my parents while they were recovering from their car accident. I thought Charter Senior Living of Paris was okay. We liked the staff better elsewhere. And their cost was much higher - they charge you for a lot of extras.
My mom loved it her, absolutely loved it. I can't say enough good about them, I have a friend whose parents are still there and love it. It's the gold standard by which we compare all other places to. It was a small facility so everybody knew everybody which was great and it was really really clean. I would highly recommend anybody who was for whatever reason in Paris or moving to Paris to go to Morningside.
We had to move my family member due to some psychiatric issues; we hope that once they get done with their treatment we will be able to move them back. It was a great place.
If I could put a zero for this community I would. They lie to you to make it sound like a great place then as soon as they have your loved one in there they start to turn your loved one against you and you end up in court over a bunch of nonsense that isn't the case. Charter sucks! Do not send anyone there they are horrible!!!!!!!!!
We took her out of the facility because of the cost..They continued to raise cost and in my opinion were not assisting her with her daily needs like helping dress her, change depends, put hearing aids in, put her ankle brace on. Etc. She was not encouraged to go do activities either. She just sat in her room and slept, and has since declined in her memory andnin her strength.
