i had an orgasm eating here their deepdish pizza is soooo good and their pizza is soooo good. 10/10 I'd fly from California to Elgin rn to have their pizza. When I was a kid in the 70s & young adult in the 80s, the family would all meetup at my grandmother's apartment in Chicago at Chicago Ave & Western Ave. There was a pizza place we always ordered from on Chicago Ave by Damon ave called Chicago Pizza. The pizza from there was just awesome. The Pizza from CPA tastes just like it. Every time I have a pizza from CPA, it brings me home to grandma's place in the 1970s. Thank you! G. Schiller, Elgin
Chicago Pizza Authority truly surprised me in the best way. The atmosphere is cozy, laid-back, and welcoming, making it a great spot whether you're with friends, solo, or even on a casual date night. It's one of those places that just feels easy to settle into. As for the food -- I highly recommend the thin crust pizza. It's flavorful, crispy, and exactly what you'd want from a solid pizza joint. This is personally my favorite pizza in Elgin. I've only had my food delivered to me so I can't say anything about the inside of the place. This recent time my food took a bit longer than usual to get delivered so I called, they explained the situation and gave me an update on my delivery. The man who delivered the pizza was very nice. Their customer service and food is great!
Husband and I just came back from dinner at CPA. We had the cod dinner and was it ever delicious! Plenty of food , the warm bread, the fries, so good. The waitress was very nice and friendly and checked on us often. We are already talking about going back next Friday. Oh, and we go during the week too for the excellent pizza!
Tried one of their reasonably priced lunch specials today, soup salad and bread sticks with beverage. The salad was large and cold and crispy. The bread sticks with a side of marinara dipping sauce were scrumptious Aand a whole order! Soup of the day was a nice size of chili, homemade and tasty.
