I had a great experience with Dr. Meulener. I was taken into the room before my appt time and the doctor entered the room at the time of my appointment (I can't remember ever have that happen anywhere else). The doctor gave me plenty of time, was easy to talk to, and I did not feel rushed discussing a number of minor issues. I will definitely return.

Dr. Meulener is everything that a doctor was, should and will be. Takes time to listen and explain easy to talk to - excellent people skills. Just as important, great medical skills as well. He's very thorough and performs excellent procedures. Some of my procedures have involve office surgery where everything has been painless. also, does a great job in stitching and healing very minimal scarring. Strongly recommend.

UNACCEPTABLE CARE I was seen by Dr. Meulener twice. Both visits were no more than three to four mins. I didn?t feel seen or heard. I felt judged. My self reporting wasn?t believed or taken seriously but rather laughed off. I was told that I was causing my skin concerns. That could not be farther from the truth! On second visit Dr. Meulener said to me verbatim, I don?t know what to tell you other than you are scratching during the night. Nothing more can be done. Do not trust practice that is not honest to their words. Dishonest experience. Advertises what they are not. Before taking my young one, I specifically asked if doctor was going to end up referring to another dermatologist or he would be able to examine himself. Was told he will not refer as they see kids all the time. Within 5 seconds of visit, doctor referred to another one. Completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t even give a 1 star to this practice. I visited Marc Meulener and worst experience i have ever had with a practitioner. Firstly, i had to wait for 30 mins for my turn to come and then he just saw me for 2 secs and said he cannot do anything about the mole on my face. He just referred me to see another practice and charged me $100 for the 2 secs service. I dont think it’s fair to charge as he didn’t do any diagnosis or lab work for which i should be paying him. It’s a rip off and make money for doing NOTHING.

went for acne (which it was not bad, I just had some pimples) and oily skin, he told me that there was no solution, there was nothing to make it better. instead he gave me some injections n the pimples I already had. He said the first one will not be charged and that the second one my insurance will covered. at the end my insurance didn't covert it and he was charging my insurance(me) both injections. After some years I move out of NJ and found a new dermatologist since then my skin is perfect.
