When I came in for my sleep study results I spent most of my time with Paige the RPSGT. She was absolutely fantastic and really seemed to care that I got the best help with my problems. I cannot speak higher of my appreciation for her. Dr.Hammond on the other hand came into the appointment for less than 5 minutes, did not know what I was there for and did not explain anything to me.
Dr. Hammond has been my neurologist for the past 2 years though I've had minimal appointments with him because every appointment that I carefully schedule to fit with my school schedule 6 months in advance is rescheduled the week before the appointment because he decides to go out of town and is inevitably rescheduled for months later. When I do finally see him, he walks into the appointment knowing next to nothing about my condition, what medication I'm on and what dosage (even though he prescribed it). Today his office cal... read more
Dr. Hammond never seems to be in his office. When he is, the only person I speak to is his receptionist because he is too busy to speak to his patients.
Takes over 6 months to get an appointment or to change an appointment. If that busy then he needs to extend hours.
My husband was admitted to Ogden Regional after being brought by ambulance to the ER. After only a cursory exam, Dr Hammond told me that my husband had dementia with sundowners and that if he were his dad, he would just take him home. This was a terrible diagnosis for our family! My husband was later diagnosed with a brain infection and pneumonia. He recovered and was transferred to Pineview Rehab. Dr Hammond should never have given us this extremely wrong diagnosis on such a short visit.
Dr Hammond is good; his MA Trista is the worst I've ever seen. Never answers your calls, messages would go unanswered for weeks; would forget to schedule your tests; wouldn't give you its results; would screwed up with insurance with a bill over $2k-she'd say it's your responsibility to take care of it. Very small person, figuratively speaking; rude disrespectful unprofessional; treats you on her level-like dirt. Being an MD, I'd fire her in heartbeat with the worst recommendations she deserves
THE VERY WORST TREATMENT BY A STAFF I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! CANNOT BELIEVE HE IS EVEN IN BUSINESS. READING OTHER REVIEWS HERE, CONFIRMS HOW BAD HIS STAFF IS. THE RECEPTIONIST OR SECRETAY OR WHAT EVER SHE IS, WOW WHAT A HORRIBLE PERSON. HAMMIND AND THE P.A. ARE JUST AS TERRIBLE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, ONLY HOW TO FATTEN THEIR POCKETS.
Follow-up in a timely matter - or at all, does not happen with this clinic. Ask three people and always get three different answers. You do understand that you are dealing with individuals health and they are paying you to do so? I would suggest a reevaluation that your "phone calls" and "giving results" are not just a call sheet but actual people. Feel like Ogden Clinic is just in it for the money, as many tests and procedures that you can push without finding cause of issue.
The office environment is clean but the staff in not friendly at all..MA is very rude and not easy to talk or to schedule on appointment.
