Chris was extremely helpful during the entire process of buying our home. He answered absolutely every question I had (and I had QUITE a few) no matter what time of day I asked. He assisted us to build up our credit with his advice months before we even started looking, and then played a vital role in closing our VA loan at a miraculous pace. Start to finish we closed in under thirty days!
Chris and his staff are quick and efficient. He considered my goals in obtaining the loan and did a good job of matching me up to a great product. He was able to produce my initial estimate before my other bank even made an appointment with me. He was also very thorough which helped the as our house went into closing.
Chris was a great help, answered all our questions and never minimized any of our concerns. He even coached us all the way through the first time process of building our dream home. It was a real pleasure having him in our corner. He really made the process painless and worry free.
I would not recommend doing business with Loan Depot. Unethical is the first word that comes to mind. My wife and I both pre-qualified with credit scores over 800, steady employment, perfect payment histories and very little debt; we are great loan candidates. We were steered to Loan Depot by our builder who promised a $5,000 lender credit for using Loan Depot as a preferred lender, as well as a $5,000 builder credit.
