Horrible pain for a routine cleaning. Hygienist spoke to me in such a demeaning tone I don’t know if I was crying from the pain or the embarrassment and shame. I am a 20 year old girl and she commented on my eating habits as an explanation for my gum health. I’ve had a history of eating disorders, which I should not have to disclose in order to receive professional service.
