I have been here one week today if I did not have somebody to bring me food I probably would have lost at least 10 lbs. there has been one meal that was tolerable that was pancake (1) and a piece of bacon. That shows how horrible the food is. Tonight I got a dry hamburger the kitchen said that they did not have mayonnaise ketchup or mustard also came with spinach and a potato salad that was dry and completely full of raw onion. I agree the facility looks great. Their covid prevention steps and greeter at the front were the only thing good about this facility. Medication and IV therapy was not given correctly. Monitoring of output was not done, as instructed by her referring surgeon. One day when I arrived the "Dr." was speaking with the patient and told her that her heart rate was high, (130-145), but it ran high in the hospital, so they would watch that. Horrible place, my dad was here during Covid-19, they did not call when my 87 year old father fell. He had a black eye cuts bruises and a very swollen elbow. My sister went by to see him through the window and noticed all the cuts and bruises, they said he was fine, she had to insist they call an ambulance. The ambulance took him to Boone Hospital, they said this wasn't just one fall and took pics and not the only ones that have showed up with this problem from Post Acute. Please do not leave your family members here.

The facility looks great. PT and OT are good. Nursing staff was horrible, and couldn't figure out which meds to give my mother or when. The doctor didn't see my mother until she had been there over a week, and Dr. James really did a bad job with discharge. The care team manger had no idea what was going on. One of the reasons we chose CPA was the advertisement for respiratory therapy for my mother who had just had lung surgery. This was just a flat out lie.
