I went with contour mortgage for my recent home purchase and Anthony was by far the worst loan officers I have worked with. Before me and my partner decided on getting a spot Anthony answered all of our questions and reassured us with any problems we were facing. He would only say I will get your loan don’t but Could not answer questions seems like he is knew and does not no the way things work out with loans. I did not think I was a hard loan because I work for a company.

My first home purchase started with another lender, they were terrible. It was the most stressful and depressing process I've ever been through. I was told in the beginning to just use banks like credit union and what not. Spent 3 months of frustrations and failed promises by the bank. I spoke to Jeff really earlier in the process but decided the bank was a safer bet. After the 3 months I decided to cancel everything with them, started the process with Jeff again. He walked me through every process and was always there to pick up my calls. In 2 and a half months I went from new app to new homeowner. I worked with multiple mortgage companies in my life as I have lived in several states and am not a first time home buyer. That said, after working with Mr. Powers in the fall of 2020, I would be quick to advise anyone who intends to buy a home to work with this man directly. This gentleman took all my personal information and I will assume i was mot a good candidate, but instead of getting back to me and saying that he just never responded to any of my calls. Texts. Messages! Rude and quite unprofessional.
