Today I had my first orthopedic follow-up for the total right knee replacement surgery. I had my sutures removed and received an excellent +!! I have 110 degrees bend at 22 days out which is amazing! I can lift and hold my leg up and straight with no assistance. The incision is impeccable! I chose stitches this time they were much more comfortable and less of a scar than staples! Some great nurses and CNA’s to care for the elderly! Management is also one of the greatest groups I’ve ever seen! Activities keeps the residents busy and happy 😃. It never smells like a “ Nursing Home” which says a lot right there!

Who wants to spend time in a nursing home? I know it was the last place I wanted to be but, as luck would have it, the multiple sclerosis I suffer from gave me no choice in the matter. I consider myself lucky to have landed at Corning Center. I'm grateful for warm and caring treatment I received from the entire staff while I was there. Collectively and individually, I want to send my sincere thanks to all. Michael Cavallo
