My air conditioner went out the first of June and I purposely would not call Cougar Mechanical as I had a friend with a horrible experience with them (high costs) after doing research (apparently not enough) I found very favorable comments about Trademark Heating and Air so I called them instead and they were able to come out that day -- so I was very impressed the tech found the problem in less than 1 hour -- apparently a capacitor and relay was bad also a fuse in the furnace subsequently burned out -- the tech told me it w... read more

If I have a 0 star review for this company, Ill absolutely give them a zero. I have the worse experience with this company.I asked for their service for my furnace around 1/15/24 and they gave me the wrong diagnostics . They said there was something wrong with the pressure switches which we replaced and then didnt work, then they said it was the compartment box which we ordered and took time before it was delivered and when it got delivered they found out they ordered the wrong parts. If I could give zero I would. They installed mini splits that started blowing cold air only in freezing weather only 27 days after install. They have sent more than three techs over three weeks. They oscillate between agreeing the system is broken and then stating it is functional. I still dont have heat my space heaters generated a $900 electricity bill and I still owe $11k on a heating system that isnt heating my house. Made appointments and would no show causing us to lose time off work which means no money for us that day. They did it three times the third time was their electrician who was scheduled in the morning he finally called at 5:15 to tell me he wasnt coming. I had a few words with him about not being considerate of our time. We rescheduled for the next morning when he arrived he told me I was rude!! I had a few more not so kind words with him. Total crooks. Lied to us about our loan terms for our AC we had installed. Now dealing with debt collectors because of this company. I called every day and left a message with a different person each time. Was told I would get a call back ASAP every day for five days straight. They never called. It operates on a pretty standard practice of a sales representative making empty promises that the company will later deny. My porch camera caught all the ** we were fed.
