For some reason, the food tastes better here compared to other places. Like the chicken’s more tender and a crispier coating texture, the sides and other menu items are more hot and freshly served. Other than that, I would definitely come back here when I get the chance. I recommend getting any deals like seasonal or daily lunch specials.
I love Cracker Barrel. We weren't happy with the unkempt conditions of the table to be seated at. The floor underneath the table was full of crumbs as were all four chairs. Subsequently, we moved to a different table. Service was a little slow, but overall it was okay. As usual, the food was excellent. Also, found a few great items in the retail area.
Went on a Saturday morning. It was extremely busy, and we were still able to get our food quick. Staff was working really hard to make sure things didn't slip. Our waitress was a trainee (first solo table), and seemed more experienced than that. We were there with 3 young children and she was great about keeping tabs on everyone's meals and drinks without being overwhelming. My husband, friend and I just LOVE Cracker Barrel! On this recent visit, ELLA was just so helpful and sweet! She was VERY good at wearing many different hats to calm down a very busy Saturday morning. She is attentive to customers, while also ringing out customers, while calling back for online staff to take orders, all while displaying no amount of stress. First time in at this location and we were greeting immediately by the hostess. Our server Maryssa was amazing. That really doesn't even cover it, phenomenal; spectacular; out of this world. She really puts the care into her job. Food was plentiful and delicious. Just the home cooking we were looking for after a long day on the road. Don't sleep on this place, it's definitely a must stop at!
