Everything was cold, hard(except the pie) and overcooked like it had been sitting for hours. The pie wasn't cooked all the way and the breading was literally wet mushy uncooked dough! I usually love Cracker Barrel but this was the worst meal I've received from any restuarant in a long time.
The pinto bean juice got all over all of my food. Needed to be in a separate container.
No chicken in soup. 3 Bowls of mushy dumplings
I normally love Cracker Barrel Dumplins and their Buttermilk Biscuits (4) but these were awful. Biscuits were hard and overcooked. Dumplins was almost entirely gravy. I've had this issue at this location before.
The Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout was decent. The requested broccoli could have been seasoned more and the fried apple slices...not a fan.
The Country Fried Shrimp, the onion petals, and the hush puppy (I got ONE, why bother?) were all way overcooked. Shrimp should be fried to a nice golden brown, not to the point that its only flavor is that of overly fried breading and are unrecognizable as shrimp. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the okra and the biscuits. The rest of it went into the trash, a waste of $30 of my hard-earned money. If I'd been at the restaurant I'd have sent it right back. Won't be ordering from Cracker Barrel again!
Ham taste and smells like a pigs butt!! Smell was unbearable and threw it out. Everything else was good.
For the money you pay, they should give you more vegetables and more potatoes
The Biscuit Beignets were not cooked through. They were still raw dough like. Also, we only got 1 syrup and no butter for 2 pancake orders. This is the first time ordering from there that we've had a bad experience.
