The new special, Big Easy Steak n' Shrimp is worthwhile. 10-oz NY strip plus some jumbo shrimp (prawns) with creole sauce. Corbin was a first-rate server.
What a cute restaurant! Delicious food and a whole section dedicated to cute knick knacks for the home and snacks! Grab a bite and a souvenir while you’re here! The mashed potatoes were lacking in salt (perhaps because it’s in the gravy I didn’t order) and the mac and cheese was meh. The highlights were really the mains- steak and fried chicken.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store was awesome! The parking lot was huge, clear of trash and debris. Parking was ample with plenty of handicapped parking out front. The store was clean, with SO many items to see. Some of the candy reminded me of my childhood which made me smile. Our server “Tristan” was great! Food was delicious. Atmosphere was perfect. Service was the best part. Elijah was an awesome server. Helped make Thanksgiving dinner a great experience. btw...The Fried Turkey brings us back year after year.
Whenever I travel on the road I always stop at Cracker Barrel because I love there food. I stopped there on my way to Georgia from NY and it was the first time I got food that I always ordered and when I got my plate I was shocked at how I received a little piece of ham and one strip of bacon, when I used to get my food I would get a nice piece of ham and more bacon. I also asked the server about biscuits and he said that what I ordered biscuits were not included so I said that I wanted it anyways but I didn't get it.
