There have been many times that I have been very happy to give a glowing recommendation about a restaurant. Unfortunately, this is not one of those times. I have gotten numerous deliveries from Cracker Barrel and have always been satisfied. i will say that the Coarse Ground Grits was delivered nice and warm. This Butter Pecan French Toast Bake was the worst thing I have ever purchased from Cracker Barrel. It was like some dry hard bread with a little cream cheese for sweetness. Bread and the crumbles were crusty. I was rather disappointed since I have purchased other items from them, many times before. My husband liked the Steak & Egg Hashbrown Casserole a lot. The photo of the toast bake shows Almost the totality of what I received, as I had tasted it already.
Tiny piece of meatloaf, bland sides no flavor. Worst cornbread I've ever had honestly.
The dumplings had way too much salt in them. There was not enough gravy with them either.
We ordered the weekend only southern fried chicken. First, the appearance was as if it had been fried and refried in old oil. It was dark outside and dry inside. The veggies, for the most part, were acceptable. Biscuits, however, were overcooked and burned on the bottom. Also dark on top tasteless and dry. This meal was definitely a disappointment.
I do not like the way Cracker Barrel oackage their to go items with Door Dash. There's no sealing of bags and drinks to prevent someone from doing anything to our food amd drink.
I ordered the campfire beef. The beef was completely burnt to a crisp, and I mean black on one side of the beef pieces. They also sent it to my hotel room with no utensils, no napkin, no butter for my muffins. I ordered the chicken last night and it was really good. This was a joke tonight
Missing 2 meals and some sides. Food we did get was fine - but we were feeding a group...
This is really bad food looks picked over parts of the turkey missing, like someone took a fork to the dressing on one of the plates Green bean juice all in the turkey and dressing looks like someone's leftovers verses a freshly prepared meal. What is going on? Usually much better quality and service.
