I did online ordering for curbside pickup. Was supposed to be ready at 5:03, at 5:25 they finally bring it out and I was missing 3 sides. Had to go into the store and then wait on my sides and still didn’t get my gravy for the mashed potatoes. Got home and was missing the syrup for the chicken and French toast. Chicken was so tough, mashed potatoes were awful, big huge pieces of raw potato in it. Biscuits were hard, they were like rocks. I have never gotten food this bad before.
Dined in twice and have picked up 3x. The first time was nice except being seated next to people who kept bringing up politics. There was a cook/server (not our waitress) who called my Fiance, Ma'am. The second time was ok. Now every time we've picked up our order there has been some issue like temperature or the food tasting like tap water. I'm not sure what's going on, but quality of food has gone down drastically in a month. I give the store a 5/5, but not the restaurant.
We were there forever. It took over an hour to get an appetizer. We couldn't seem to get refills on our drinks. My steak had to be sent back twice to get it cooked well done. It's simple, cut it open before you send it out to see if it is cooked. Our server did not seem to want to be there. They were out of 3 different dishes that were ordered. We were there for well over 2 hours to get our meal.
I really love Cracker Barrel so I hate to leave a bad review but this location seems to have some serious quality control issues. About a year ago I bought some candy and soda for myself. Got home and they were both expired (like really expired… like a year.) Okay. It was just for me and it’s going to happen sometimes. No big deal. We were tired from the traveling so we stopped at Cracker barrel for a bite to eat it was an awsome experience. Fresh food ,sweet tea and a warm fire to sit by .
