Disappointing Experience at Cracker Barrel - Poor Customer Service from Server Shelley I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Cracker Barrel. Ordered the Country boy breakfast with the ham steak which used to be the 8oz sugar ham steak now they use the ham sample pieces I was told by the server ,she stated she did'nt know why other than the new CEO was doing alot of changes to Cracker Barrell from my understanding the new CEO is also the CEO of Taco Bell.Anyhow back to the breakfast I sub 1 of the sides for an additional charge for 2 pancakes (which in return is about the size of 1 regular pancake ) I personally expect the up charged pancakes to be of normal size... read more
I was really impressed a tour bus showed up with about 25 people. We put in our order after they did, and our food and their food all showed up in a timely manner and was great. Our waitress was friendly and made sure our drinks were refilled.
Experience at Cracker Barrel Cross Lanes, WV Fried chicken tenders were extremely dry and inedible. The manager did take them off our bill however, which was appreciated. The steak was cooked well and flavorful. Chicken & rice meal (which was the daily special) was cold. Baby carrots were not fully cooked, still crunchy. Biscuits were very hard.
Food was great as always but took forever to arrive (restaurant was not busy either) and they not only charged for our sweet teas (expected) but charged for EACH REFILL! We had no idea that was a thing now. It is ridiculous.
