Outstanding customer service and family friendly staff members.. my slow braised pot roast and Lemon pepper grilled rainbow Trouts were delicious. Only negative things was; too little portions of rice and corns as sides.
Slow service by our waitress in getting our order. Her co-worker bailed her out and got our drink order to get us started. Meals were lukewarm and my chicken tenders were rubbery. No doubt sitting under the warmer for quite awhile. Good note was they had my favorite BBQ sauce, Nashville hot. Next time we will drive 25 miles north and go to the store in Paducah.
Andrea (please forgive any misspelling) was our waitress and she did a phenomenal job. She was friendly, efficient, professional and detail oriented. She was helpful without being intrusive. She kept our drinks filled without being asked. She knew the menu, made recommendations based on her knowledge, received and delivered our food order accurately, and correctly added additional to go food items to our order upon request. She made our dining experience very enjoyable.
Normally I have great food and very good service. But not this time . I ordered the fried apples as one of my sides. They had the taste of onions horrible when I'm allergic. The mash potatoes were great just much smaller side that usual. The country fried steak tasted like a hamburger but very dry and smaller . The biscuits were super small and dry as well. I always used to love CB's food but as of late I went to several and the quality of food is just not there. Go back to the original, original meals. Back to your old suppliers. I don't know what happened but the food does not taste as good. The chicken and dumplings are the only things that have remained about the same.
