Great food consistent across the country One of the things I love most from my childhood is a bowl of delicious chicken and dumplings. Tender dumplings warmed by a smooth chicken broth and just enough pepper to get your attention. Imagine how great it is to know I can go right down the street and share a memory with my grandchildren and my kitchen never gets...
Good food and service I visited the Cracker Barrel in Lincoln on Saturday morning. We had a group of 7 and was able to get a table within 10 minutes. The server was very attentive. The food was very good.
Cracker Barrel - Lincoln, IL I visited the restaurant on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. I think only 2 servers plus managers. I had to ask a few times for things like jelly and butter. I did not like the hash brown casserole but the other items I had were very good.
It's the usual good food that you'd expect at any Cracker Barrel, but I was really impressed by the fantastic service that we received at this location. We were promptly seated and were quickly waited on, and our server provided just the right amount of attention and was able to get us served quickly so we could be on our way. Bravo!
Great Quality Food This Cracker Barrel lived up to the reputation of Cracker Barrels all over the country for good food. The service was very good. The servers all looked happy and were pleasant. I had the Spicy Grilled Catfish with green beans and dumplings. It was all wonderful.
