Cracker Barrel Old Country store has an extensive menu, excellent cooks and seasoned employees. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect. There are lots of windows, the indoor lighting is soft and the restaurant feels like home - you have to experience it. Fantastic service and food on 1/3/25 late morning! Our little waitress (long blonde hair pulled back) was on top of EVERYTHING! She was attentive on our order, kept our coffee refilled and hot, and made sure all our needs were met, and visited our table more than once to check in. It's hard to find that service at many places anymore unfortunately. I wish I got her name, but we did make sure to thank her for being a great friendly waitress. This is what will keep customers coming back!
Ate lunch here 05/22/25 with 2 other adults. Got seated right away. Did not see a server for about 10 minutes. When we did she apologized and took our orders. Did not see her again or get our drinks for about another 10 to 12 minutes. She (Morgan) did offer to bring us free biscuits and gravy "if we were really hungry". We passed. Love Cracker Barrel. My husband really likes their Campfire meals. I love shopping and always find something to buy! Their food is very good. When we are out of town and there's a Cracker Barrel.... we will be there!!
Service can be a hit or miss here but recently we got an older server who was absolutely outstanding! He was polite, funny, and on top of things. The food is decent but I can get better Southern cooking at home; however, the Saturday rib special was AMAZING. Fall off the vine tender, great taste, and good sauce... I only wish that you could get them on other days.
