Had our Thanksgiving meal there and absolutely loved it. The food was great and service was excellent. I asked for extra stuffing since I love it so much, the lady brought it to me for no additional cost, such a great place to dine in, especially during the holidays.
Pancakes are great, can taste the butter. Biscuits and gravy, I didn't like as the biscuits didn't taste fresh, and the gravy didn't have much flavor. Their chicken tasted good, Scrambled eggs did taste a little runny. Love the grits. Restrooms are clean, staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely try. They also have a store with nice souvenirs, little pricey in my opinion, but some stuff is worth the price.
We waited, almost an hour for drinks and another hour for our food. The server was really rude and gave so much attitude. And when we wanted refills,, she just completely ignored us, and for the bread on the table. We had to wait at least 30 minutes. I didn’t expect this from Cracker Barrel. This is my worst Experience. Please do better.
I went with my family for Thanksgiving and we had a great time. The traditional dinner was good, if not spectacular. I had a side of potato casserole that was the best thing I tasted that meal. The general store has something for everyone with lots of specialty candies and treats. Our server really impressed me with her positive attitude and prompt attention.
So it had been a bit since we have been there. At 1st I was impressed. Our server was right on us like a car salesman when you pull into a car lot and not even out of the car yet. She was great. So another server dropped one of the honey bottles right next to me in the walkway. She picked up the bottle, but she left the rest there with broken pieces of glass.
